CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION OPPOSING SENATE BILL 62.
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South
San Francis co that:
1. The Council hereby expresses opposition to the pro-
visions of Senate Bill 62 in that it fragments the voting
areas of North San Mateo County to the extent that the voters
of the area are denied the right to cast a meaningful vote
for representation in the State Senate.
2. The City Clerk be and he is hereby authorized to for-
ward a copy of this resolution to the following:
Senator Mervyn M. Dymally, Chairman,
Elections and Reapportionment Committee
Senator Arlen Gregorio.
