CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION DETERMINING THAT THE PUBLIC
INTEREST AND NECESSITY REQUIRE THE
ACQUISITION OF CERTAIN LAND AND DIRECT-
ING THE FILING OF EMINENT DOMAIN PROCEED-
INGS (SSF/SB WASTEWATER MANAGEMENT PROGRAM
PIPE LINE EASEMENT THROUGH LANDS OF SEAGRAMS).
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South
San Francis co that:
1. The public interest and necessity require the acquisi-
tion, construction and completion of a portion of the deep-
water outfall force main (SSF/SB Wastewater Management Program)
and work auxiliary thereto in, over, across and upon the parcel
of land more particularly described in Exhibit A, attached
hereto and by this reference incorporated herein, within said
City of South San Francisco, County of San Mateo, State of
California, and the taking of an easement over, across and
through the parcel of land aforesaid, together with a temporary
construction easement, both of which are described in said
exhibit.
2. Said proposed improvement carries out the water
quality objectives for the San Francisco Bay Region promulgated
by the San Francisco Bay Regional Water Quality Control Board
and confirmed by the State Water Resources Control Board and
Federal Government through the Department of Interior, Federal
Water Pollution Control Administration and is planned and
located in the manner which will be most compatible with the
greatest public good and the least private injury, and all of
said acquisition is situate within the City of South San
Francisco, County of San Mateo, State of California.
3. John Noonan, City Attorney, who is the attorney for
said City, be and he is hereby directed to institute and
conduct to conclusion an action in eminent domain and/or to
le
quiet title for the acquisition of the property more par-
ticularly described in said Exhibit A, and to take such action
as is necessary therein.
4. An Order for Immediate Possession and Use be obtained
in said action, and that a warrant be issued to the County
Clerk, San Mateo County, California, in the amount determined
by the Court to be so deposited, as a condition to the right
of immediate possession.

Description of Permanent Easement
A portion of Lot 13 in Block 3 as delineated on the map entitled "South San
Fxancisco Industrial Park Unit No. 2-0, South San Francisco, San Marco County,
California," which map was filed for record in the office of the County Recorder
of said County in Vol. 52 of Maps at Pages 41 and 42, and being a strip of land
10.00 feet in width lying Northeasterly of and adjacent to the Northeasterly
boundary line of that certain 3.00 foot wide Easement for pipelines described
as Parcel 2 in the Deed recorded in 'Book 3697 of Official" Records of San Marco
county at Page 721 and extending fr6m the Southeasterly line of Littlefield Avenue
to the Northwesterly line of said Lot 13.
Containing an area of 0..0925 Acres (4028 square feet) more 6r less.
Description of Temporary Easement
A temporary easement in said Lot 13 for construction purposes, terminating at the
end of construction, being a strip of land 25.00 feet in width lying Northeasterly
of and adjacent to the Northeasterly-boundary line of the 10.00 foot wide Permanent
Easement described above.
Containing an area of 0.2292 Acres (9,985.75 square feet) more or less.
