HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 6070-1973RESOLUTION NO. 6070 CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA A RESOLUTION DIRECTING THE PREPARATION OF AN ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT GELLERT BOULEVARD EXTENSION PROJECT ASSESSMENT DISTRICT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco, California, that WHEREAS, on July 6, 1971, this Council adopted its Resolution of Intention No. 5593, wherein the Council expressed its intention to order the acquisitions and improve- ments therein more particularly set forth; and WHEREAS, this Council is of the opinion that the nature of the project is such as to require the preparation and filing of an environmental impact report pursuant to the provisions of the California Environmental Quality Act of 1970. NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS 0RDERED, that the Engineer of Work in said assessment proceedings is hereby authorized and directed to prepare an environmental impact report for sub- mission to the Council at the time of filing the Engineer's Report under said Resolution of Intention. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that 1. Compensation for the preparation of said report is hereby fixed at a reasonable fee to be set forth in the Engineer's estimate of cost and approved by this Council, payable from the proceeds of assessments and sale of assessment bonds. 2. The fee authorized by this resolution shall not exceed Three Thousand Dollars ($3,000.00) unless prior Council approval is obtained for an increase of said fee. I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held on the 7th day of May 19 73, by the following vote: AYES, COUNCILMEN Patrick E.
