HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 6074-1973RESOLUTION NO. 6074 CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA A RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION 6025 ENTITLED, "A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO DETERMINING UNITS WITHIN EMPLOYEE ORGANIZATIONS AND ESTABLISHING A PROCEDURE TO VERIFY THAT SUCH ORGANIZATION DOES REPRESENT EMPLOYEES OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, VERIFYING THE OFFICIAL STATUS OF THE EMPLOYEE ORGANIZATION, OFFICERS AND REPRESENTATIVES AND RECOGNIZING SUCH EMPLOYEE ORGANIZATIONS (MEYER-MILIAS-BROWN ACT ~SEC. 350 7) ." BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that Paragraph 1 of Resolution 6025, passed February 20, 1973, is hereby amended to read: 1. The units hereinbelow described are declared and shall be the units of employees for any and all purposes relevant to the obligations of the City of South San Francisco under the aforesaid Meyers-Milias- Brown Act. Unit No. 1 contains management and confidential employees. Unit No. 2 contains professional. Unit No. 3 contains maintenance and field employees. Unit No. 4 contains office and clerical employees in all categories and departments. Unit No. 5 contains Police Officers. Unit No. 6 contains Fire Fighters. Unit No. 7 contains non-sworn personnel - Police Department.
