CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO,STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION EXPRESSING APPRECIA-
' 'TION 'TO ISHERIFF IEARL 'B.' 'WHITMORE
WHEREAS, Sheriff Earl B. Whitmore is retiring from
public office after serving the people of San Mateo County
for over 30 years; and
WHEREAS, he has contributed to the welfare of this
County through his activities in public office and through
numerous activities; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to express appre-
ciation to him for said services;
NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of South San Francisco that the Council desires
to express appreciation to Sheriff Earl B. Whitmore for his
contributions to this County's progress and welfare through
his services as Sheriff of San Mateo County and numerous
other civic activities through which he unselfishly, gave
time, interest and effort to advance and better this County,
and by which he established a high standard of civic conduct
worthy of following by those who desire to contribute to
the welfare of this County.
