CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION DECLARING STATUS OF
RESERVE OFFICERS IN THE SOUTH SAN
FRANCISCO POLICE DEPARTMENT FOR
PURPOSES OF LABOR iCOD'E SECTION 8362.
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South
San Francisco that the Council hereby declares that:
1. The reserve officers of the South San Francisco Police
Department duly appointed and included on the reserve officers'
roster, are registered as active reserve policemen in the
regularly organized Police Department of the City and have offic-
ial recognition of the government of the City;
2. Said reserve officers of the Police Department of the
City of South San Francisco shall be deemed employees of the
City for the purpose of Section 3362 of the Labor Code of the
State of California, and shall not be entited to receive compen-
sation from said City except for compensation set forth on the
schedule for reserve officers as maintained by the Police Depart-
ment, and the benefits accruing pursuant to the Workmen's Compen-
sation Laws of the State of California.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was
regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the
City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held on the
Ist day of October , 1973, by the
