CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO,STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION REGARDING USE LIMITS OF
OUTSIDE ELECTRICAL CHRISTMAS LIGHTING
DURING THE 1973 SEASON
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South
San Francisco, that said Council being advised of the need for
energy conservation, hereby orders that the traditional Christmas
lighting on public buildings, streets and areas (except for the
tree at the top of Sign Hill) shall be discontinued for the 1973
season, and the Council does further urge the citizens of this
community to consider the need for conserving energy in using
outside electrical Christmas decorations in this 1973 season.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regu-
larly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of
South San Francisco at a regular meeting held on the
5th day of November , 1973, by the following vote:
