CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING MEDIAN
ISLAND INSTALLATION - PORTION OF
CHESTNUT AVENUE.
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South
San Francisco that the City Council on the ~0th day of
December' , 19 75 , after a public hearing duly noticed
and after considering the recommendations of the Acting
Director of Public Services and the Chief of Police and the
oral and written comments submitted by interested parties at
said hearing, found and determined that the installation
of a median island in a portion of Chestnut Avenue as shown
on the plan entitled "Proposed Median Extension Chestnut Avenue,"
dated October 19, 1973, Drawing No. 44-A-26-0,
is necessary for the safe control and direction of vehicular
traffic on said avenue and does hereby order that the median
island as shown on said plan be constructed and installed.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager is hereby
authorized to cause the construction and installation of said
median island and do any and all necessary acts necessary
therefor, including call for bids and execution of any and
all contracts required.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was
regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of
the City of South San Francisco at a regular
meeting held on the loth day of December ,
19 75, by the following vote:
