CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A ~ESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ACQUISITION
OF A PARCEL OF PROPERTY FROM GUY F.
ATKINSON COMPANY, A CORPORATION.
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South
San Francisco that:
1. The Council determines that the public convenience
and necessity require acquisition of the parcel hereinafter
described.
2. The City Manager be and he is hereby authorized to
acquire from Guy F. Atkinson Company, a corporation, the parcel
which is more particularly described in Exhibits A and A-1
attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein and
made a part hereof as if set forth verbatim.
3. The City Manager be and he is hereby authorized to issue
or cause the issuance of a warrant to Guy F. Atkinson Company,
a corporation, in the sum of Six Hundred Six*y-seven Thousand
Dollars ($ 667,000.00 ), the purchase price for said parcel
based on appraisals, previously obtained; charge the Revenue
Sharing Fund therefor and in the event additional funds are
needed to total said purchase price, charge the Unappropriated
Reserve Fund for said additional funds; and establish an escrow
with Title Insurance and Trust Company providing for the comple-
tion of the acquisition free and clear of all liens, taxes and
encumbrances except those accepted by City.
4. The City Clerk be and he is hereby authorized to
accept for and on behalf of the City a grant deed conveying
said described parcel to the City of South San Francisco, free
and clear of all liens, taxes and encumbrances except those
accepted by City.
5. The City Attorney be and he is hereby authorized to
prepare and deposit in escrow any and all necessary escrow
instructions to carry out the acquisition and the terms of
this resolution as hereinbefore described.

the City of South San Francisco at a regular
