CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR THE HOLDING
OF A GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION IN THE
CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO ON THE 5TH
DAY OF MARCH, 1@74, DESIGNATING AND CON-
SOLIDATING PRECINCTS, DESIGNATING POLLING
PLACES, APPOINTING PRECINCT ELECTION
OFFICERS AND OTHER RELATED' MATTERS.
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of The City of
South San Francisco that:
1. For the purpose of holding a General Municipal
Election in said City on the Sth day of March, 1@74, said City
be and it is hereby divided into twenty-nine (29) election
precincts designated as Consolidated Precincts 1, 2, 3, 4, 5,
6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21,
22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, and 29.
2. Exhibit A attached hereto and made a part hereof
by this reference designates the Consolidated Precincts or
Voting Precincts which contain the territory of the County
precincts or combination of County precincts established by
that certain Resolution No. 32311 adopted January 8, 1974
·
by the Board of Supervisors, entitled, "A-Resolution and Order
Dividing the County of San Mateo, California, Into Election
Precincts and Establishing Boundaries Thereof." The polling
place for each of said precincts is as shown on Exhibit A.
The officers for each of said precincts are shown on Exhibit A
and each of them is hereby appointed Precinct Officer for the
precinct designated.
3. The use of voting machines, same having been approved
by the State Commission of Voting Machines, and approved and
adopted by the County of San Mateo, is hereby approved for said

election, and one machine in complete ~Working order shall be
placed in the polling place of each precinct, said polling
places to be opened at 7:00 a.m. and kept open until 8:00 p.m.
of said date when said polling places shall be closed.
q. The officers shall be compensated as follows:
Inspector- the sum of $28.00
Judge - the sum of $21.00
5. The City Clerk shall provide or cause to be pro-
vided all supplies and services and equipment and do all acts
necessary to conduct said election as provided for in the
Elections Code and other related laws, including those services
contracted for with the County of San Mateo by Resolution No. 6222
of the City of South San Francisco.
6. The City Clerk shall give notice of the aforesaid
designation of election officers and polling places by publica-
tion in the South San Francisco ENTERPRISE-JOURNAL as required
by law.

receive additional compensation in the sum of ~5.00. The number and title of the
election officers for each of the precincts shall be as listed hereinabove under
the. name of the precinct, and such number is hereby determined to be sufficient
