CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING RATES PURSUANT
TO ORDINANCE 538, AS AMENDED, PASSED THE
25TH DAY OF 0CTOBER~,1965.
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South
San .Francisco that:
1. Establishment of Rates:
Pursuant to Ordinance 538 of the City of South San
·
Francisco, as amended, passed the 25th day of October, 1965,
and Particularly Section XX thereof, the rates, set forth in
Exhibit "A" attached hereto are hereby established as the
refuse collection rates to be charged by the "Scavengers" as
same is referred to in the said Ordinance.
2. Pub li cation:
This Resolution shall be published once within fifteen

(15) days after passage in the "Enterprise-Journal, a newspaper
of general circulation in the City of South San Francisco.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was
regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the
City of South San Francisco at a regular
meeting held

1. Private Dwellings
A. 30 Gallon
For private dwelling .units,' dry garbage
only, in containers up to and .including
3'0 gallons, for one collection per week
One container ........ $2.70 per month
Each additional container ........ $2.30 per month
B. 40 Gallon
For private dwelling units, dry garbage
only, in containers up to and-including
40 gallons, for one collection per week
One container ........ $3.00 per month
Each additional container . . ' ...... $2.60 per'month
C. Surcharge
For private dwelling units, dry-'garbage
only~ a surcharge of Nine 'Cents ($.09)
per gallon may be charged for one col-
lection per week for each gallon or
fraction thereof that the capacity of
the container exceeds 40 gallons
D. Special Service
For special pick-ups from residential
units, such as brUsh, rubbish and
boxes (which shall not include dirt
or rocks) - for each' pick-up per
cubic yard (loose)
