RESOLUTION NO. 37~,74
A RESOLUTION REQUESTING CONSOLIDATION OF ELECTION
CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of South San
Fran6isco, California, that
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of South San Fr&n-.
ciaco proposes to call and order a special municipal election. .~-.
in said City to be held June 4, 1974;
WHEREAS, the public i~terest will be benefited, a
Bore reprosentatlve vote will result, and the interest
venience of the voters will be .$..~¥ed if said special
election is held on the same dm~e and voting thereon is
same precincts, with the same precif~t officials as are est~b.
lished for the statewide eleotion to be held on the same date;'
and
WHEREAS, the provisions of Section 2504 of the Elections
Code of the State of California provide that if a municipal
election .is held on a statewide election date it shall be con-
solid&ted with the statewide election;
NOw, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, as follows :.
1. That the Board of Supervisors of the County of Sma.
Marco, State of California, is hereby requested pursuant to
Sections 2504 and 23300 to 23314, inclusive, of the Electl...C~!
Code Of the Stato of California, to order the consolidation of
the special municipal election to be held June 4, 1974~ with the
statewide election to be 'held on the same date.
2. That the proposition to be voted on at Said spec.iai
municipal election is as follows:

PROPOSITION: Shall the City of So.uth San
(~ublic Safety Francisco incur a bonded in-
Complex) debtedness in the principal
amount of $~, 500,000 for the
construction and completion, upon property o~ned
by said City, of a municipal improvement .consiSt-
ing of a building comprising a public safety
complex to house the police and fire departments
for said City, including site preparation, land-
scaping, paving and parking-facilities; the
purchase of furniture, fixtures, apparatus 'and
equipment; and the acquisition of lands, ease-
ments and rights of way and all other works,
improvements, facilities and structures, and the
completion of all incidental work necessary or
convenient to the operation of a public safety
complex for the City of South San Francisco?
3. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to file with
the Board of Supervisors and the County Clerk of the County of
San Mateo certified copies of this Resolution at least seventy-
four (74) days prior to the date of said s tatewide election.
