RESOLUTION NO. 60-74
A RESOLUTION DETERMINING THAT THE PUBLIC INTEREST AND
NECESSITY DEMAND THE ACQUISITION, CONSTRUCTION AND
COMPLETION OF A CERTAIN MUNICIPAL IMPROVEMENT
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco, California, that it be, and it is hereby, ordered and
determined as follows:
1. That the public interest and necessity demand the acquisi-
tion, construction and completion of the following municipal improve-
~ent, to wit:
The construction and completion, upon
property owned by said City, of a municipal
improvement consisting of a building comprising
a public safety complex to house the police
and fire departments for said City, including.
site preparation, landscaping, paving and
parking facilities; the purchase of furniture,
fixtures, apparatus and equipment; and the
acquisition of lands, easements and rights of
way and all other works, improvements, facilities
and structures, and the completion of all
incidental work necessary or convenient to the
operation of a public safety complex for the
.City of South San Francisco.
2. That the municipal improvement mentioned in the foregoing
section of'this resolution is necessary and convenient to carry out
the objects, purposes and powers of the City.
3. That the cost of said municipal improvement will be too
great to be paid out of the ordinary annual income and revenue of
the City, and said improvement'will require an expenditure greater
than the amount allowed for it by the annual tax levy of said City
and will necessitate the incurring of a bonded indebtedness.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly
introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of
South San Francisco, at a
