HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 65-1974 / RESOLUTION NO. 65-74 CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA · A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ACCEPTANCE OF A GRANT DEED OR DEEDS FROM ROY UCCELLI AND EMILY UCCELLI, HIS WIFE, AS JOINT TENANTS, AND RELATED MATTERS BE IT RESOLVED by the City.Council of the City of South San Francisco that: 1. The City Manager be and he is hereby authorized to deposit in escrow the sum of Ninety Thousand--~ Dollars ($90,000.00) for the acquisition by grant deed of the parcel or parcels described in Exhibit A attached hereto, and subject to the terms, conditions and exceptions set forth in Exhibit B. 2. The City Clerk be and he is hereby authorized to accept a grant deed to said parcel or parcels described in Exhibit A attached hereto and subject to the terms, conditions and exceptions described in Exhibit B,. and record same or cause same to be recorded in the official records of the County of San Mateo. 3. The City Attorney be and he is hereby authorized to issue escrow instructions to carry out the terms of this Resolution and the terms of the option executed pursuant to Resolution No. 75_74 , passed the 4th day of'Feb~y , 1974. Terms and Conditions' A. The grant deed is accepted pursuant to the Offer To Sell Real Property for Parcel J-2521~ dated January 30, 1974, and accepted by Edward G. Alario, City 14anager of the Ci':y of South San Francisco,. on February 4, 1974, as authoriZed by Resolution No. 25-74 passed February 4, 1974. T~e City declares that said option was taken and said parcel is being acquired by the City under the City's F~ower of condemnation of private property for a public ileed by involunL, ary conversion in lieu of a court judgment. C. Additional terms and conditions as set .forth in the escrow instructions. 2. Exceptions' City will accept a grant deed to said parcel with status of title being free and clear of all liens, encumbrances, restrictions, easements, assess- ments, delinquent taxes, rights of possession, claims to rigi,~s of pos- session and leasehold interest whether same be recorded or unrecorded, except A.
