A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ACCEPTANCE
OF A GRANT DEED OR DEEDS FROM
LAWRENCE J. VARNI, A WIDOWER, AND
RELATED MATTERS
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of '
South San Francisco that:
1. The City Manager be and he is hereby authorized
to deposit in escrow the sum of Eighty-.Two Thousand Five Hundred
Dollars ($ 82,500.00 ) for the acquisition by grant deed of
the parcel or parcels described in' Exhibit A attached hereto,
and subject to the terms, conditions and exceptions set forth.
in Exhibit B.
2. The City Clerk be and he is hereby authorized to
accept a grant deed to said parcel or parcels described in
Exhibit A attached hereto and subject to the terms, conditions
and exceptions described in Exhibit B, and record same or
cause same to be recorded in the official records of the County
of San Mateo.
3. The City Attorney be and he is_hereby authorized
to issue escrow instructions to carry out the terms of this
Resolution and the terms of the option executed pursuant to
Resolution No. 27-74
1974.

EXHIBIT B TO RESOLUTION 67-74
TERMS, CONDITIONS AND EXCEPTIONS
1. Terms and (;o~dlttons:
A. The grant deed is accepted pursuant to the Offer to Sell Real
Property for Parcel J-25208 dated January 28, 1974, and accepted
by Edward G. Alarto, City Manager of the City of South San Francisco,
on February 4, i974, as authorized by Resolution 27-74 passed
February 4, 1974.
The City declares that satd optton was taken and sald parcel is
betng acquired by the City under the Ctty's power of condemnation
of prtvate property for a publlc need by Involuntary conversion
in 11eu' of a court Judgment,

2. Exceptions'
City wtll accept a grant deed to said parcel with status of title being
free and clear of all liens, encumbrances, restrictions, easements,
assessments, delinquent taxes, rights of possession, claims to rights
of possession and leasehold interest whether same be recorded or unrecorded,
except
A. Real property taxes which shall be prorated in accordance with
Section 49B6 of the Revenue and Taxation Code and as further set
forth in the escrow instructions, and
Exceptions 2 and 3 of the Security Title Insurance Company
Litigation Guarantee No. 0-25208 dated October 19, 1974, pro-
viding respectively for covenants, conditions and restrictions and
right-of-way for wires and cables.
