HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 75-1974 RESOLUTION NO. 75-74 CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO,STATE OF CALIFORNIA A RESOLUTION ENDORSING THE PROPOSALS EXPRESSED IN SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 77 PASSED BY THE CALIFORNIA STATE SENATE ON FEBRUARY 6, 1974 WHEREAS, Senate Resolution No. 77 relates to an investigation by the Public Utilities Commission of the State of California concerning the interconnection of miscellaneous customer provided devices to the facilities of telephone utilities; and WHEREAS, the Senate has requested that in order that the public interest be served, the Public Utilities Commission of the State of California be provided full assurance that there will be no adverse effect on telephone rates applicable to the general public, particularly~to low income individuals and small businesses; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco, that the City Council endorses the proposals expressed in California State Resolu- tion No. 77; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk forward a copy of this Resolution to the Public Utilities Commission of the State of California. I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted bY the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held on the 15th day of April , 1974, by the following vote: AYES, COUNCILMEN Richard Aattaglia, F.
