CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION APPROVING AMENDMENT
NO. 2 TO THE MEMORANDUM OF UNDER-
STANDING WITH UNIT NO. 1.
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South
San Francisco that Amendment No. 2 to the Memorandum of Under-
standing for fiscal year 1973-74 with Unit No. 1 having been
entered into between the employer representatives and employee
representatives, and having been duly considered by the Council,
the Council does hereby approve said Amendment No. 2 for fiscal
years 1973-74, a copy of which is attached hereto as Exhibit
"A".
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was
regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of
the City of South San Francisco at a re~nlar
meeting held on the 15th day of April , 1974,
by the following vote:

AMENDMENT NO. 2
ME~0RANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING
UNIT NO. 1 WAGE COMMITTEE 1973-74
The City of South Sari Francisco and Unit No. ~L Wage Com-
mit-tee 1973-74 acknowledge and affirm they have met a~d conferred
in good faith, exchanged proposa].s and counter-proposals, and in ali.
respects' fulfilled their obligation under law to me~t and confer on
all subjects appropriate to this process, ond in particular the pending
adjustments ~:o wages for ~hose officers hereinafter designated. As
a r~sult' of the meet and confer process the parties have reached an
understanding which the City negotiators have agreed ~o recommend
to %he City Council for acceptance and app?oval and which the repre-
sentatives of Unit No. 1 Wage Con~nittee 1973-7q have agreed 'to
present for acceptance and approval as follows:
1. Amendment of Memopandum of Understanding dated
September 5, 1973, approved by Resolution No. 617~ passed the 12th
day of September, 1973. The Memorandum of Understanding, Unit No. 1
Wage Committee 1973-74, executed as of September 5, 1973, and
approved by Resolution No. 6174 passed 'the 12'th day of September,
1974, is hereby amended to add thereto Section 12 which sha].] read
as follows:
