CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO,STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION COMMENDING THE YOUTH
COMMUNITY IN ACTION GROUP
WHEREAS, THE YOUTH COMMUNITY IN ACTION GROUP has been
formed to serve the needs of youths under twenty-one years
of age in the Cities of Daly City, Pacifica, South San Fran-
cisco, Brisbane and Colma; and
WHEREAS, the Group plans to kick off its membership
campaign with a festival on August 17, 1974; and
WHEREAS, the Group plans programs to provide activities
for youths and intends to address itself to youth communication
problems with parent's, police, school officials and recreation
workers, and further envision long-range projects .to produce
a drop-in center, recreation facilities and day care centers;
and
WHEREAS, the City of South San Francisco desir~ to
recognize their efforts and commend them therefor;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of South San Francisco, California, that this
Council does commend THE YOUTH COMMUNITY IN ACTION GROUP for
their undertaking to serve the needs of youths under twenty-
one years of age in the Cities of Daly City, Pacifica,
South San Francisco, Brisbane and Colma.
