CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING APPLICA-
TION FOR GRANT FUNDS - CONSOLI-
DATION OF ~POLI~C.E SERVICES
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco desires to undertake a certain project designated
Consolidation of Police Services, to be funded in part from
funds made available through the Crime Control Act of 1973,
P, L. 93-83, hereafter referred to as the Safe Streets Act
administered by the State Office of Criminal Justice Planning,
hereinafter referred to as OCJP).
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Manager
of the City of South San Francisco is authorized on its behalf
to submit the attached application for Grant for Law Enforcement
Purposes to OCJP and is authorized to execute on behalf of the
City Council of the City of South San Francisco the attached
Grant Award Contract for law enforcement purposes including any
extensions or amendments thereof.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the applicant agrees to
provide all matching funds required for said project (includ-
ing any extension or amendment thereof) under the Safe Streets
Act and the rules and regulations of the State Office of
Criminal Justice Planning and the Law Enforcement Assistance
Administration, and that cash will be appropriated as required
thereby.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that grant funds received
hereunder shall not be used to supplant on-going law enforce-
ment expenditures.
