RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco,. California, that
WHEREAS, plans and specificatJ, ons providing for cer-
tain. improvement wor. k have been submitted, which plans and
specifications are entitled'
LIBRARY, POLICE BUILDING AND CITY HALL AIR CONDITIONING,.
HEATING'g MODIFICATIONS,
and,
WtIEREAS, the City Council desires to approve said plans
and specifications, authorize the work and call for sealed
proposals; ~
NOW, TtIEREFORE, IT IS tR.]REBY ORDERED that'
1o The plans and specifications hereinbefore named and
identified are hereby.approved and the work therein provided
is hereby authorized, and said plans and specifications are
referred t° and by ti~is reference n~de a part hereof the
same as if recited herein verbatim°
· 2. The City Clerk of said city is hereby directed to
publish by two (2) consecutive insertions i.n the "Enter-
prise-Journal, a newspaper publ. ishcd and circulated in said
City, a notice inviting sealed proposals or bids for said
work in accordance with the plans and specifications herein-
before named and identified and on fil(; in the Office of the
City Clerk, thc first of which puUlication shal. 1 be at least
ten (10) days prior to tile time fixed for ope.lng bids. A
copy of said notice e.titled "Notice to Bidders" is attached
hereto and referre(! to .and by this reference made a part
hereof as if set forth verbatim herei..
All proposals or bids shall be accompa,ied by a cashier's
or certified check, payable to the order of the City of South
