CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO,STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION REGARDING THE SOUTHERN
CROSSING OF SAN FRANCISCO BAY
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
South San Francisco that the Council having duly reconsidered
the various proposals regarding the Southern Crossing of San
Francisco Bay, and having re-examined the projected land use
patterns and reviewed the growing need for completion of a
Southern Crossing either at Sierra Point or connection with
Route 380, does hereby urge the State of California Transporta-
tion Agency and other concerned agencies, and the State Legisla-
ture of the State of California to take any and all necessary
actions to complete the necessary plans and cause construction
of a Southern Crossing connecting with Sierra Point or with
Route 380.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution
be sent to the Board of Supervisors of San Mateo County, Senators
Arlen Gregori'o and George Moscone and Assemblymen Louis Papan
and Dixon Arnett.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was
regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the
City of South San Francisco at a re~ulam meeting held
on the 16th day of September , 1974, by the
following vote'
