A RESOLUTION AMENDING SECTION 1
OF RESOLUTION NO. 6025, PASSED
FEBRUARY 20, 1973, ENTITLED "A
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SOUTH
SAN FRANCISCO DETERMINING UNITS
WITHIN EMPLOYEE ORGANIZATIONS AND
ESTABLISHING A PROCEDURE TO VERIFY
THAT SUCH ORGANIZATION DOES REPRE-
SENT EMPLOYEES OF THE CITY OF
SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, VERIFYINg'
THE OFFICIAL STATUS OF THE EMPLOYEE
ORGANIZATIONS, OFFICERS AND REPRE-
SENTATIVES, AND RECOGNIZING SUCH
EMPLOYEE ORGANIZATIONS (MEYERS-
MILIAS-BROWN ACT, SEC. 3507)"
WHEREAS, the Municipal' Employees Relat.ions. Officer
has transmitted his findings, recommendations and the Units
determined by his office to the Ci. ty Council in accordance
with Section 2.100 of Ordinance No. 647 passed the 19th day

San Francisco Establishing a Procedure for the For'mation. of,
Recognition of, and Communication With Employee Organizations,
and
WHEREAS, the appropriate notice period as provided
i~n said Ordinance has passed, and the Council desires to
designate the representative units as recommended, and
appropriate notice has been given of the City's i.ntent to
units who will represent City

IT RESOLVED that Section I of

Resolution No. 6025, which is more particularly hereinbefore
described, is hereby amended to r~ad'
1. The units hereinbelow described are declared '
and shall be the units of employees for any and all purposes
rel'evant to the obligations of the City of South San Francisco
under the aforesaid Meyers-Milias-Brown Act.
Unit' No. I contains Management employees.
Unit, No. 2 contained Professional and Para,Professiona,1
employees.
Unit No. 3 contains Maintenance and Field employees.
Unit No. 4 contains Office and Clerical employees.
Unit No. 5 contains Police Officers.
Unit No. 6 contains Fire Fighters
Unit No. 7 contains Non-Sworn Police Department
employees.
Unit No. 8 contains Confidential employees.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was
regularly introduced and adopte.d by the City Council of the
City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting
