CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO,STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION CLARIFYING CERTAIN PRO-
VISIONS OF THE MEMORANDUM OF UNDER-
STANDING WITH UNIT NO. 5 APPROVED
DECEMBER 27, 1973
WHEREAS, the City Council in Resolution No.6240 passed
December 27, 1973, approved a Memorandum of Understanding with
the Police Association for Unit No. 5 which contained in Exhibit
B certain provisions regarding the sharing of'premiums for health
plans and dental plans; and
WHEREAS, a difference in interpretation has arisen as to
when the date upon which the sharing of premiums was to commence;
one interpretation being January 1, 1974, and the other interpre-
tation being July 1, 1974; and
WHEREAS, the City Council, on recommendation of the staff,
desires to clarify said provisions by establishing July 1, 1974,
as the date upon which the sharing of premiums is to commence,
which date meets with the approval of the representatives of Unit
No. 5;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the
City of South San Francisco, that the date for the commencement
of sharing of health plan premiums and dental plan premiums, as
set forth in Exhibit B of the Memorandum of Understanding herein-
before referred to shall be July 1, 1974.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly
introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South
San Francisco at a reqular meeting held on the ~Sth day of
December , 1974, by the following vote:
