CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
TO EXECUTE A COOPERATION AGREEMENT WITH SAN
MATEO COUNTY REGARDING HOUSING AND COMMUNITY
DEVELOPMENT ACT APPLICATION

WHEREAS, the County of San Mateo is intending to qualify under the
~Housing and Community Development Act of 1974 as an "urban county;" and
WHEREAS, the County of San Mateo has extended an invitation to the
City of South San Francisco to join with the County in its application for
housing and community development funds under said act; and
WHEREAS, to join with the County in its application for Federal Housing
and COmmunity Development funds will result in mutual advantages for both the
City and County; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does intend to participate with the County of
San Mateo in applying for Federal funds under the Housing and Development Act
. of 1974.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of South
San Francisco intends to participate with the County of San Mateo in applying
~for Federal funds under provisions of the Housing and Community Development Act
'of 1974, and hereby authorizes and directs the City Manager to execute a coopera-
tion agreement with the County of San Mateo tendering a general commitment to
cooperate and co-participate in the planning for the Community Development Block
Grant plan and program.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly intro-
duced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco
at a adjourned regula~eeting held on the 22nd day of Januar~
1975, by the following vote:

Leo Radreddii and Warren Steinkamp
