TIlE WORK AND CALLING BIDS FOR
CEILINS AND LIGHIINS RENOVATION IN
FINANCE OFFIC~'.'OF CITY HALL(Project

RESOLVEI) by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco, California, that ~
WHEREAS, plains and specifications provi'ding for cer-
tain improvement work have been submitted, which plans and
specifications are entitled:
CEILING AND LIGHTING RENOVATION IN FINANCE OFFICE OF CITY HALL
and,
WtIEREAS, the City Council desires to approve said plans
and specifications, authorize the work and call for sealed
proposals;
NOW, TtIEREFOIiE, IT IS 1-~REBY ORDERED that'
1o '~he plans-and specifications hereinbefore named and
identified aro hereby approved and the work therein provided
is hereby authorized and said plans and specifications are
referred to a~d hy trois reference made a part hereof the
same as if recited herein verbatim°
2. The City Cleric of said City is hereby directed to
publish by two (~) consecutive insertio,s in the "Enter-
prise-Journal, a newspaper i~ublished and circulated in said
City, a notic~ i.~viting sealed prol~osals o,' bids for said
work in acc~rda,~cc with the p.lans and spe.cificatio,'~s herein-
before named and identified and on file in the Office of the
City Clerk, thc first of whi. ch publication sl~al.l, be at least
ten (10) days prior to tl~e time fi. xed for ol~enl, ng bids. A
copy of said ~otice e~}titled "Notice to Bidders" is attached
hereto and referred to and by this reference made a part
hereof as if set forth' verbatim herein.

All proposals or bids shall be accompanied by a cashier's
or certified.check, payable to tl~e order of the City of South
San Francisco, tn an amount equal to not less than ten per
cent (10%) Of the bid figure, or by a bond in said amount
