HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 19-1975 RESOLUTION NO. 19-75 CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED FROM NORPEN DEVELOPMENT COMPANY (GELLERT BOULEVARD EXTENSION). BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that: 1. The Grant Deed dated July 18, 1973, from Norpen Development Company, a California corporation, to the City of South San Francisco, a municipal corporation, which dedicates for street purposes (Gellert Boulevard) the portion of land therein described, and which is more particularly described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto, is hereby accepted. 2. The City Clerk is authorized to record or cause recordation thereof in the Official Records of the County of San Mateo. I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a reqular meeting held on the 5th day of Februar~ , '1975 , by the following vote: AYES, COUNCILMEN Richard A. Mir. ri, Leo Padreddii and Warren ~Rteim~amD II NOES, None ABSENT, II None ATTEST: 'Res~lUtio'n No. 19-75 EXHIBIT A' DESCRIPTION OF PROPERTY DEDICATED BY NORPEN DEVELOPMENT COMPANY TO CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO FOR STREET PURPOSES A portion of the lands of Norpen Development Company. to ' be dedicated for street purposes ~(Gellert Boulevard) to South. San Francisco, California, and being more particularly described as follows: A strip'of land of varying width adjacent to the north- easterly exterior boundary of that .certain map entitled "Westborough-West park Unit' No. '3E, South San Francisco, San Mateo County, California"., which map was filed in the office of the Recorder of the County of San Mateo, State. of California on April 18, 1972, in Book 75 of Maps, at Pages 23, 24, 25 and 26, described as follows: BEGINNING at 'the most easterly corner of Lot 220 in Block 12 .as said Lot and Block are shown on aforesaid map of Westborough-West Park Unit No. 3E, said POINT OF BEGINNING .being the point of inter section of the exterior boundary of said map with the westerly line of the 50.00 feet P. G. & E. Tower Line easement recorded in 'the office of the Recorder of the County of San Mateo, State of California in Book 225 of Official Records, at page 86 and in Book 2523 of Official Records, at page .281; thence from said POINT OF BEGINNING along the exterior boundary of said map North 43o00' West 208.56 feet; tangent to the la'st said course on the arc of a curve to the left with a radius of 1154.00 feet, subtending a central angle of 10°40'', an arc distance of 214.84 feet; North 53040' West 55.92 feet; tangent to the last said course, on the arc of a curve to the left with a radius of 30.00 feet, subtending a central angle of 85o36'05'', an arc distance of 44.82 feet to a point-of cusp in the southeasterly line of King Drive; leaving said exterior boundary line northeasterly' from a tangent bearing North 40o43'55'' East on the arc of a curve to the left, with a radius of 440.00 feet, subtending a central angle of 7°13'14'', an arc distance of 55.45 feet; North 33°30"41'' East 22.32 feet; South 53o40' East 86.17 feet to a point in the line parallel with aforesaid northeasterly exterior boundary line of said map of Westborough-West Park Unit No. 3E and at right .angles distant northeasterly 50.00 feet. thereof; thence along said parallel line, tangent to the last said course, on the arc of a curve to the right with a radius of 1,204.00 feet, subtending a central angle of '10040', an arc distance of 224.15 feet; South 43000' East 166.59 feet to a point in aforesaid westerly line of 50.00 fleet P.
