CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION OF AWARD OF CONTRACT FOR
REMOVAL OR DEMOLITION AND DISPOSAL OF
EXISTING STRUCTURES AT 910, 936 AND
940 GRAND AVENUE AND 323 AND 401/403
CHESTNUT AVENUE ON PUBLIC SAFETY SITE -
PROJECT NO. PB-74-2
RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco that:
WHEREAS, pursuant to previous authorizati on and publi shed
notice, bids were publicly opened, examined, and declared on the 23rd
day of January, 1975, for REMOVAL OR DEMOLITION AND DISPOSAL OF EXIST-
ING STRUCTURES AT 910, 936 AND 940 GRAND AVENUE AND 323 AND 401/403
CHESTNUT AVENUE ON PUBLIC SAFETY SITE - PROJECT NO. PB-74-2;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED as follows:
1. That said City Council does hereby reject all of said
proposals or bids except those hereinafter mentioned, and hereby
awards contracts to the following lowest responsible bidders:
a. Myron DemolitiOn & Excavation for removal or
demolition of the following structures:
910 Grand Avenue for the sum of $600
940 Grand Avenue for the sum of $700
401/403 Chestnut Avenue for the sum of $975.
b. Ken J. Industries, Inc., in 'the sum of $2,313
for removal or demolition of the structure at
323 Chestnut Avenue.
c. Coast House Movers for the removal or demolition
of the structure at 936 Grand Avenue, for which
Coast House Movers will pay the City $251.
2. That the City Manager of said City is hereby author-
ized to make and-enter into written contracts with said successful
bidders and the City Clerk of said City is hereby directed to
attest his signature and affix thereto the corporate seal of the
City.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was
regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of
the City of South San Francisco at a
meeting held on the 19th day of Februar~
19 75 , by the following vote:
