A RESOLUTION DECLARING COUNCIL'S
DETERMINATION TO CARRY OUT THE
PUBLIC SAFETY COMPLEX PROJECT
AND ORDERING THE FILING OF NOTICE
OF SUCH DETERMINATION
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of South San Francisco, by
ReSolution No. 2165 passed. February 11,1975, certified the Environmental
Impact Report entitled "Public Safety. Facility and Environmental Impact Report
for a New Police and Fire Facility at Grand Avenue and Chestnut Avenue in South
San Francisco" in accordance with the California Environmental Quality Act,
Guidelines for Implementation of the California Environmental Quality Act and
Resolution No. 33-74 of the City Council of the City of South San Francisco
passed February 19, 1974, entitled "A Resolution Establishing a Precise Plan
for the Processing of Developmental Projects and Municipal Plats in Accordance
with the Environmental Quality Act, and the Appurtenant Guidelines Issued by
the Resources Agency",and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of South San Francisco, by

motion made and adopted February 11,1974, approved Use Permit 305 for said
Public Safety Facility, and
WHEREAS, the City Council, after a duly noticed hearing, reviewed the
Environmental Impact Report and said Public Safety Facility Project, which is
also referred to as the Public Safety Complex;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED THAT'
1. The City Council hereby approves and determines to carry out the
project described as the Public Safety Facility in the referenced Environmental

Impact Report, which is also designated as the Public Safety Complex;
2. That a notice of determination substantially in the form set
forth in Exhi~bit A attached hereto which is titled "Appendix D, Notice of
Determination" and which is by this reference incorporated herein as if set
forth verbatim, be executed by the City Planner and filed with the County
Clerk as required by the Public Resources Code Section 21152, with said notice
of determination, indicating that the project has been approved and that the
project will have a significant affect on the environment, and that the Envir-
onmental Impact Report was prepared for this project pursuant to the provisions
of the California Environmental Quality Act;
3. That a copy of the notice of determination described in paragraph
2 above be filed with the City Clerk;
4. That said notice be available for public inspection in the offices
of the City Planner and the City Clerk of the City of South San Francisco, and
included on the list of such notices posted on a weekly basis in the office
of the County Clerk, pursuant to the Public Resources Code Section 21152, and
a copy of the notice.be posted on the bulletin board in the City Hall, South
San Francisco, California, for a period of thirty (30) days.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced
and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a
