HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 63-1975 RESOLUTION NO. 63-75 CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA A RESOLUTION DESIGNATING TRANSIENT OCCUPANCY TAX RECEIPTS AS GENERAL FUND REVENUES 'AND RELATED ~MATTERS. BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that: 1. Any and all monies received by the City of South San Francisco pursuant to Ordinance 554, as amended, passed the 22d day of August, 1966, entitled, "An Ordinance Imposing a Tax Upon the Privilege of Transient Occupancy and Providing for the Collection Thereof," are hereby designated General Fund revenues and said designation is to continue in effect until changed by resolution or order of the City Council. 2. Notwithstanding any prior designation or order of the City Council, including ordinances, resolutions or budget appropriations which allocated any portion of said transient occupancy tax for beautification projects, purposes or funds, the balance of any funds on hand as of the end of fiscal year 1974-75 shall be transferred to the Capital Improvement Fund, at which time the Beautification Fund shall be closed. I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly intro- duced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held on the 4tn day of June 19 75, by the following vote: AYES, COUNCILMEN Richard A.
