RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING FILING APPLICATION FOR
FEDERAL AND STATE GRANTS FOR
PUBLICLY OWNED WASTEWATER TREATMENT WORKS
AND PROVIDING CERTAIN ASSURANCES,
WASTEWATER TREATMENT WORKS ADDITIONS PROJECT 1235
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco
that the Director of Public Services is hereby authorized and directed to
sign and file, for and on behalf of the City of South San Francisco, an
Application for Federal Assistance under the Federal Water Pollution Control
Act, as amended (33 U.S.C. 1251 et seq.) and any agreements or other documents
necessary to secure and receive a grant under said act and a state grant
under the Clean Water Bond Law of 1970 and/or 1974 for construction of waste-
water treatment works.
BE IT RESOLVED that the City of South San Francisco hereby agrees and
further does authorize the aforementioned representative to certify that if
grants for its project are made pursuant to the aforementioned federal and
state statutes, it will comply with all applicable state and federal statu-
tory and regulatory requirements, including but not limited to the Assurances
contained in the Federal Grant Application and the State Grant Contract. The
Freedom of Information Act, 5 U.S.C. 552 as amended relating to the right
of the public to obtain information and records, The National Historic
Preservation Act of 1966, U.S.C. 470 et seq., as amended, relating to the pre-
servation of historic landmarks, The Copeland (Anti-Kickback) Act, 18.U.S.C.
874, 40 U.S.C. 276c and the regulations issued thereunder, 29 CFR 3.1 et seq.,
and The Contract Work Hours and Safety Standards Act, 40 U.S.C. 327 et seq.,
and the regulations issued thereunder.
I do hereby certify that the foregoing is a full, true and correct copy
of a Resolution duly and regularly introdUced and adopted by the City Council
of the City of South San Francisco at a reg~lar meeting held
this 18th day of June , 1975, by the following vOte:
