HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 93-1975WJML: KJmh 6-24-75-20 RESOLUTION NO. 93 -75 A RESOLUTION CONFIRMING REASSESSMENT ANTOINETTE LANE STREET OPENING PROJECT ASSESSMENT DISTRICT SUPPLEMENTAL ASSESSMENT REASSESSMENT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco, California, that, WHEREAS, this Council did, on the 4th day of June, 1975, adopt its Resolution No. 71-75, A Resolution Directing Reassessment, in which it did direct the Engineer of Work to make and file with this Council a reassessment of all of the parcels, the former supplemental assessments upon which, under Resolution No. 228-74, A Resolution of Intention to Levy Supplemental Assessment, adopted by said Council on December 4, 1974, are so designated upon the supplemental assessment and diagram which was confirmed by said Council on January 15, 1975 and recorded in the office of the Superintendent of Streets of the City of South San Francisco on January 16, 1975; WHEREAS, said Engineer of Work did, on June 4, 1975, file with this Council a diagram and reassessment; WHEREAS, said Council fixed Wednesday, the 2nd day of July, 1975, at the hour of 7:30 o'clock P.M., as the time for hearing said reassess- ment and caused notiCe of said hearing to be published once a week for two weeks, to be mailed to all persons interested in said reassessment, and to be posted on or near the Council chamber door, as appear from the affidavit and certificates on file in the office of the City Clerk; , WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said hearing one protests or objections were made or presented to the proposed reassess- ment, and all matters and things pertaining to said reassessment were duly heard and considered by said Council; NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED, as follows: 1. The Council hereby determines that the public interest will be served by such reassessment. 2. That said reassessment filed with this Council be, and the same is hereby ratified, approved and confirmed. 3. That the City Clerk shall deliver said reassessment to the Superintendent of Streets together with a certified copy of this reso- lution thereto attached, and said Superintendent of Streets shall thereupon record such reassessment with a certificate at the end thereof by the City Clerk that it is the reassessment confirmed by the Council on July 2, 1975. 4. That the Superintendent of Streets shall note opposite the supplemental assessments in said supplemental diagram and assessment that they have been displaced by said reassessment, ~giving the date, and shall credit upon such reassessment all payments theretofore made upon the supplemental assessment. When said reassessment has been recorded, the Superintendent of Streets shall cause the supplemental assessments to be canceled. I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held this 2nd day of July , 1975, by the following vote: AYES, COUNCILMEN Richard A.
