A RESOLUTION APPROVING AMENDMENT
1-75 TO MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING,
UNIT 8 , CONFIDENTIAL EMPLOYEES,
JULY 1, 1975 - JUNE 30, 1977.
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco that Amendment No. 1-75 to the Memorandum of Understanding,
Unit 8 - Confidential Employees, July 1, 1975 - June 30, 1977,
approved by Resolution 89-75 passed June 30, 1975, a copy of which
amendment is attached hereto as Exhibit A, is hereby approved and
authorized, same to be effective in accordance wi th the effective
term of said Memorandum of Understanding.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly
introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco at an adjourned regular meeting held on the 8tn
day of July , 19 75 , by. the fo]lowing vote:

AMENDMENT NO. 1-75
MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING
UNIT 8 - CONFIDENTIAL EMPLOYEES
JulY 1, 1975- June 30, 1977
The City of South San Francisco (hereinafter, City) and Unit 8 -
Confidential Employees (hereinafter, Unit 8) desire to amend the Memorandum
of Understanding for Unit 8, July 1, 1975 - June 30, 1977, as approved by
Resolution 89-75 passed June 30, 1975.
In consideration of the aforegoing premises and the mutual covenants

herein contained and contained in the referenced Memorandum of Understanding,
Paragraph 3 of said Memorandum of Understanding is hereby amended to read'
3. Work Week.
lhe work week for all employees in Unit 8 shall consist

of 40 working hours', which requires an adjustment of working hours
and salaries for those employees whose work week as of the date of
the execution of this agreement consists of 37% working hours per
week. Therefore, effective July 1, 1975, the base salary of those
employees whose' work week as of the date of the execution of this
agreement consists of 37% working hours per week shall be adjusted
by adding thereto two percent (2%)of said base salary and said
employees and the parties hereto shall coordinate and develop
planS for the implementation of the adjustment of said work week
which shall become effective January 1, 1977.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have executed this Amendment
No. 1-75 to the Memorandum of Understanding four Unit 8 - Confidential Employees
