HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 101-1975 RESOLUTION NO. lOl-75 CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA A RESOLUTION IN MEMORY OF JOHN FABBRI. WHEREAS, John Fabbri commenced his distinguished police career in the City of South San Francisco and served as Chief of Police of said City from 1962 to 1969 and thereafter served the City of Fremont in the same capable manner, and WHEREAS, John Fabbri served on numerous law enforcement commissions and advisory groups including the President's Crime Commission, the Inter- national Police Chief's Association and the San Mateo County Juvenile Justice Commission, and WHEREAS, John Fabbri further contributed to the advancement and development of law enforcement as a member of the Executive Committee of the California peace Officers' Association, the California Police Chiefs~. Association, former President of the FBI National Academy Associates of California, and many other groups too numerous to mention; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that the members of this Council do hereby express a deep sympathy to the family of John Fabbri, deceased, and do by this resolution record a respectful remembrance of his contributions to this cOmmunity and the law enforcement profession. I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly intro- duced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held on the 16th day of July , 1975 , by the following vote: · AYES, COUNCILMEN Richard A.
