CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING NO-PARKING
ZONES ON PORTIONS OF EL CAMINO REAL
AT THE PONDEROSA ROAD INTERSECTION
AND ON PONDEROSA ROAD AT THE INTER-
SECTION WITH EL CAMINO REAL, AND
AMENDING RESOLUTION 3812, ADOPTED
NOVEMBER 4, 1963, AS AMENDED.
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco
that the Council, having considered the'staff report dated July 16, 1975,
finds and determines that parking on portions of E1Camino Real at the
Ponderosa Road intersection and parking on portions of Ponderosa Road at the
E1 ~Camino Real intersection, as shown on Exhibit A attached hereto, entitled
"El Camino Real and Ponderosa Road No Parking Zones," dated July 1, 1975,
which by this reference is made a.part hereof as if set forth verbatim, and
more particularly hereinafter described, creates a traffic hazard in that
parking in said areas or zones will present a traffic hazard to vehicles
making a turning movement at or near said intersections and will further sub-
stantially limit the clear site distance:
1. On the easterly side of E1 Camino Real, a 50' no-parking zone
located southerly of the Ponderosa Road intersection, and a 53' no-parking
zone on said easterly side lying northerly of the Ponderosa Road intersection,
all as described on said Exhibit A.
2. On the westerly side of E1 Camino Real, a 68' no-parking zone
consisting of a 16' driveway and a 50' no-parking zone northerly of the
Ponderosa Road intersection, and a 40' no-parking zone consisting of a 28'
driveway and a 12' no-parking, zone lying southerly of the Pohderosa Road
intersection, all as described on said Exhibit A.
3. On the northerly side of Ponderosa Road, a 61' no-parking zone
consisting of a 16' driveway and a 45' no-parking zone, and on the southerly
side of Ponderosa Road an 86~no-parking zone consisting of a 28' driveway
and a 58' no-parking zone, all as shown on said Exhibit A.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL ORDERS, in accordance with California
Vehicle Code Sections 22506 and 22507 and South San Francisco Ordinance 491,
Article XI, Section 11.3(d), that the following described arem be established

as no-parking areas in the City of South San Francisco, and that Section
III of Resolution 3812, passed November 4, 1963, as amended, entitled "A
Resolution of the~City Council of the City of South San Francisco Establish-
ing Certain Traffic Regulations in Accordance with and for Ordinance 491,"
be amended by adding thereto Section O,.which shall read as follows:
O. EL CAMINO REAL AT THE PONDEROSA ROAD INTERSECTION AND
PONDEROSA ROAD AT THE EL CAMINO REAL INTERSECTION:
1. On the easterly side of E1 Camino Real, a 50' no-parking zone
located southerly of the Ponderosa Road intersection, and a 53'
no-parking zone on said easterly side lying northerly of the
Ponderosa Road intersection, all as described on Exhibit A
attached hereto, which exhibit is by this reference incorporated
herein as if set forth verbatim.
2. On the westerly side of E1 Camino Real, a 68' no-parking zone
consisting of a 16' driveway and a 50' no-parking zone northerly of
the Ponderosa Road ini~ersection, and a 40' no-parking zone consisting
of a 28' driveway and a 12' no-parking zone lying southerly of the
Ponderosa Road intersection, all as described on Exhibit A attached
hereto, which exhibit is by this reference incorporated herein as
if set forth verbatim.

3. On the northerly side of Ponderosa Road, a 61' no-parking zone
consisting of a 16' driveway and a 45' no-parking zone, and on the
southerly side of Ponderosa Road an 86' no-parking zone consisting of
a 28' driveway and a 58' no-parking zone, all as described on Exhibit
A attached hereto, which exhibit is by this reference incorporated
herein as if set forth verbatim.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this resolution be submitted to the
Department of Public Works of the State of California for approval in writing
pursuant to Vehicle Code Sections 22506 and 22507, and said resolution shall
not take effect until and after said approval by the Department of Public
Works of the State of California, which shall be endorsed on' the face of this
resolution or attached hereto by the City Clerk.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly
introduced and adopted by the City CounCil of the City of South San Francisco
