CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION APPROVING AMENDMENT 0-1,
1975-76 OPERATING BUDGET.
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco that, after duly considering the staff report dated August
6, 1975, subject "Amendment 0-1, Amending the 1975-76 Operating
Budget," which is attached hereto as Exhibit A, the Council hereby
approves Amendment 0-1 to the 1975-76 Operating Budget, providing
as follows:
1. (Account 39-3359) Grant revenues from the
San Mateo County Transit District
2. (Account 39-4510-354-57) Supplemental
appropriation of capital funds
3. (Account 39-4399-354-57) Supplemental
appropriation of operational funds

To: The Honorable City Council
Subject: Amendment O-1
Amending the 1975-76 Operating Budget
Recommendation: It is recommended that the City Council (1) adopt a
resolution approving a supplemental appropriation of $48,315 for the
City's bus system, and (2) approve by motion the acquisition of an
additional bus.
Discussion: On July 23, the San Mateo County Transit District approved
South San Francisco's request for $48,315 of Transit District funds to
acquire and operate an additional bus for the City's new bus system.
$10,637 has been approved for the acquisition of a used diesel powered bus,
overhaul and painting to match the color scheme of the buses already
acquired. $37,678 has been approved for the operation of the bus.
To establish these funds in the City's budget for 1975-76, the attached
resolution provides supplemental transportation grant revenues of $48,315
(Account 39-3359) and supplemental appropriations of capital funds of
$10,637 (Account 39-4510-354-57) and operational funds of $37,678
(Account 39-4399-354-57).
