CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO AUTHORIZING
APPLICATION FOR GRANT FOR LAW ENFORCEMENT
PURPOSES - CONSOLIDATION OF POLICE SERVICES
WHEREAS the City of South San Francisco desires to undertake
a certain project designated "Consolidation of Police Services" to be
funded in part from funds made available pursuant to the Crime Control
Act of 1973, PL 93-83, administered by the Office of Criminal Justice
Planning (hereafter referred to as OCJP) for the California Council
on Criminal Justice;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Manager of the
City of South San Francisco was authorized, on its behalf, to submit
the attached.Application for Grant for Law Enforcement Purposes to
OCJP and is authorized to execute on behalf of the City of South San
Francisco the attached Grant Award for law enforcement purposes, includ-
ing any extensions or amendments thereof;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the applicant agrees to provide
all matching funds required for said project (including any extension or
amendment thereof) under the Crime Control Act and the rules and regula-
tions of OCJP and the Law' Enforcement Assistance Administration (LEAA)
and that cash will be appropriated as required thereby;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that grant funds received hereunder
shall not be used to sup. p.]an'~on-going law enforcement expenditures.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was
regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of
the City of South San Francisco at a regular
meeting held on the 15th day of October ,
1975 , by the following vote:
