RESOLUTION TO P,~MOVE WEEDS
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN
FP~kNCISCO DECL~RING WEEDS UPON STREETS, SIDEWALKS AND VA-
CANT AND UNIMPF, OVED PROPERTY TO BE A PUBLIC NUISANCE AND
FIXING THE T!~ FOR PUBLIC HEARING AND ORDER ABATING SAID
~fJISANCE.
Bf; IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Fran-
cisco as follows'
Said City Council hereby determines that ~eeds which have attained
such a large growth as to become a fire menace when dry, or which are
otherwise noxious or dangerous, and which are now gro~ing upon public
stree'ts~ sidewalks and vacant and unimproved property in the City of
South San FranciSco as set forth in Appendix A to .this resolution des-
cribing said properties by lot and block numbers and hereby referred
to and ,~na~!e ~ _e~er~n~ as set forth
pa.~ of this resolution by said -~ = ~ ~ if ~
verbatim~ to be a public nuisance which must be abated by their re-
,novel.. O~_e~se said weeds will be removed and the nuisance abated by
the City authorities, the cost and expense of such removal sna_! be
assessed upon all lots of land from which such weeds are removed, and
such cost ~ill constitute a lien upon such land until the same is paid.

The City Clerk is hereby directed to cause this resolution to

publication to be completed ten days prior to said hearing; aug to
post a Notice to remove weeds and of the hearin~o on, adjacent to or
near' the property from which the weeds are to be removed, said post-
