A RESOLUTION ORDERING THE VACATION OF
A STRFFT AND HIGHWAY FASEMFNT OVFR A
60' x 90' PARCEL OI~NED BY THE HOUSING
AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN
FRANCISCO.
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco,
as follows:
1. The City Council on the 15th day of October , 19 75,

adopted Resolution No. 159-75 , entitled "A Resolution of Intention to

Vacate A STREET AND HIGHWAY EASEMENT OVER A 60' x 90' PARCEL OWNED BY THE
HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO"
which Resolution recited that the proceedings were undertaken pursuant to
the Street Vacation Act of 1941 (Streets and Highways Code Section 8300,
et.seq.) and which Resolution of Intention was duly published as required
by law, and notices of hearing were duly posted in the time, manner and form
provided by law, all as appears from the affidavit of publication and the
affidavit of posting on file in the office of the City Clerk of said City.
2. Wednesday , the 5th day of November , 1975 , at the
hour of 7:30. p.m. in the West Orange Avenue Library (in the room referred
to as the Auditorium), 840 West Orange Avenue, South San Francisco, California,
was fixed in said Resolution of Intention as the time and place when and where
any and all persons interested in, or having any objections to, said proposed
vacation, were to appear before said Council and be heard.

3. No objectionsof any kind or character have been or were made or
filed against vacation.
4. The street which is described in said Resolution of Intention
and more particularly described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and by this
reference incorporated herein as if set forth verbatim, is unnecessary for
present or prospective street purposes and the interest, convenience and
necessity require vacation and abandonment of said street and the Council
does hereby order the vacation and abandonment of the street and highway
easement so described, subject to the reservations and exceptions hereinafter
set forth.
5. The public interest, convenience and necessity require the reserva-
tion for public street and highway purposes and appurtenances of an easement
over, across and through said parcel as granted by an Indenture between the
Housing Authority of the City of South San Francisco,a public corporation,
and the City of South SanFrancisco, a municipal corporation, dated April 5,
1954, and recorded April 12, 1954, in Book 2565 of Official Records, at Page
364 (File No. 48939-L), Records of San Mateo County, California, and this
vacation proceeding is taken subject to such reservation and exception. The
City Council does hereby reserve and except from this vacation proceeding
said reservation and exception.
6. The Planning Commission of the City of South San Francisco on the
28th day of October , 1975, approved said street vacation.
7. The City Clerk shall cause a certified copy of this Resolution and
order, attested under the seal of said City, to be recorded in the office
of the County Recorder of the County of San Mateo.

A parcel situated in the State of California, County of San Mateo,
described as follows'
An easement to construct, maintain and use a roadway 60 feet wide
-lying equally on each side of a center line particularly described
as follows'
BEGINNING.at a point on the Southeasterly li.ne of the 8.0631 acre
parcel described in the Deed from South San Francisco Land and
Improvement Compa'ny, a corporation to Housing Authority of the City
of South San Francisco, a public corporation, dated April 17,
1942, and recorded April 21, 1942, in Book !008 of Official Records
at page 424, Records of San Mateo County California, distant thereon
North 63° 37' East 230 feet from the most Southerly corner thereof;
and running, thence North 26o 23' west a distance of 90 feet.
RESERVING THEREFROM THE FOLLOWING:
A right~ of way for public street and highway purposes and appurtenances
ov.er and through .said parcel as granted by an Indenture between the
Housing Authority of the City of South San Francisco, a public corpora-
tion, and the City of South San Francisco, a municipal corporation,
dated April 5, 1954, and recorded April 12, 1954, in Book 2565 of
Official Records, at Page 364 (File No. 48939-L), Records of San Mateo
County, California.
