HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 202-1975RESOLUTION NO. 202-75 CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA A RESOLUTION ORDERING THE VACATION OF A SERVICE ROAD ADJACENT TO COLMA CREEK WITHIN SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO INDUSTRIAL PARK UI'iITS I AND 2A. BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco, as follows: 1. The City Council on the 19tn day of Noven~ber , 1975 , adopted Resolution No. 184-75 , entitled "A Resolution of Intention to Vacate A Service Road Adjacent to Colma Creek within South San Francisco Indu.qtrial Park Units 1 and ?A which Resolution recited that the proceedings were undertaken pursuant to the Street Vacation Act of. 1941 (Streets and Highways Code Section 8300, et.seq.) and which Resolution of Intention was duly published as required by law, and notices of hearing were duly posted in the time, manner and form provided by law, all as appears from the affidavit of publication and the affidavit of posting on file in the office of the City Clerk of said City. 2. Wednesday , the 17th day of December , 1975 , at the hour of 7:30~p.m. in the-West Orange Avenue Library (in the room referred to as the Auditorium), 840 West orange Avenue, South San Francisco, California, was fixed in said Resolution of Intention as the time and place when and where any and ail persons interested in, or having any objections to, said proposed vacation, were to appear before said Council and be heard. le 3. No objections of any kind or character have been or were made or filed against vacation. 4. The public interest, convenience and necessity require the reserva- tion of easements and rights-of-way more particularly described in Exhibit B attached hereto, and by this reference incorporated herein as if set forth verbatim, and the vacation proceedings are taken subject to such reserva- tions and exceptions. The City Council does hereby reserve and except from said vacation proceedings said reservations and exceptions described in Exhibit B. The Planning Commission of the City of South San Francisco on the 25th day of November , 1975 , approved said street vacation. 5. The City Clerk shall cause a certified copy of this Resolution and order, attested under the seal of said City, to be recorded in the office of the County Recorder of the County of San Mateo. I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly intro- duced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held on the 17tn day of December 1975 , by the following vote: AYES, COUNCILMEN F. All of those two certain strips of land designated as "Service Road" as ~said strips of land lie within, and are shown on that certain sub- division map entitled "South San Francisco Industrial Park Unit No. 1, South San' Francisco, San Mateo CountY, California," filed in the office of the County'Recorder of San Mateo County, State of California, on September 14, 1956, in Book 46 of Maps at pages 5 to 7. 2. All that certain 50' wide strip of land designated as "50' Service Road," as said strip of land lies within and is shown on that certain sub- division map entitled "South San Francisco Industrial Park UnitNo. 2A, South San Francisco, San Mateo County, California," filed in the office of the County Recorder of San Mateo County, State of California, on August 22, 1958, in Book 49 of Maps at pages 38 and 39. Resolution No. EXHIBIT B 202-75 Adopted 12717/75 RESERVATIONS AND EXCEPTIONS: 1. Sanitary Sewer Easement. That certain 20' wide sanitary sewer easement designated as "20' Sanitary Sewer Easement" as said strip of land lies within, and is shown on that certain subdivision map entitled, "South San Francisco Industrial Park Unit No. 1, South San Francisco, San Mateo County, California," filed in the office of the County Recorder of San Mateo County, State of California, on September 14, 1956, in Book 56 of Maps at pages 5 to 7. 2. Existing .sewer easement as disclosed by Notice of Completion executed by South San Francisco Land and Improvement Co., a corporation, dated February 28, 1929, recorded March 2, 1929, File Number 29323-B, Book 401 of Official Records at page 234, Records of San Mateo County.
