RESOLUTION NO. ~04 -75
A RESOLUTION DETERMINING THAT THE PUBLIC INTEREST AND
NECESSITY REQUIRE THE ACQUISITION OF CERTAIN LAND AND
DIRECTING THE FILING OF EMINENT DOMAIN PROCEEDINGS
MISSION ROAD REALIGNMENT PROJECT
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Sout~h San
Francisco, California, that
WHEREAS, it is the intention of this City Council to con-
struct and maintain public roadways and appurtenances thereto in
and on the land hereinafter described,
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS FOUND, DETERMINED and ORDERED as
follows:
1. That the public interest and necessity require the acquisi-
tion, construction and completion of a public roadway and work
auxiliary thereto, in, over, across and upon the parcel of land
more particularly described in Exhibit "A", attached hereto and by
this reference made a part hereof, within said City of South San
Francisco, and the taking of the fee simple title for roadway
purposes in and to said parcel of land is necessary for said
improvement.
2. That said proposed acquisition and improvement are planned
and located in the manner which will be most compatible with the
greatest public good and the least private injury, and all of said
acquisition is situated within the City of South San Francisco,
<County of San Mateo, State of California.
3. That John Noonan, City Attorney, and the law firm of
Wilson, Jones, Morton & Lynch attorneys for said City of South
San Francisco, be and they are hereby directed to institute and
conduct to conclusion an action in eminent domain for the acquisi-
tion of the estates and interests aforesaid and to take such action
as is necessary therein, and said law firm of Wilson, Jones, Morton
& Lynch shall be paid a reasonable fee therefor.
4. That an Order for Immediate Possession and Use be obtained
in said action, and that a warrant be issued to the County Clerk,
San Mateo County, California, in the amount determined by the Court
to be so deposited, as a c~ndition to the right of immediate
possession.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly
introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South
San Francisco at a regular meeting held this 17th day of December,
1975, by the following vote:

and Warren Steinkamp

All that certain real property situate in the City of South San
Francisco, County of San Mateo, State of California, and more particu-
larly described as follows:
BEGINNING at the intersection of the northeasterly line of Mission
Road and the southerly line of lands described in Deed from South San
Francisco Land and Improvement Company, a corporation, to Pietro Ucelli,
dated OctOber 17, 1917 and recorded October 29, 1917 in Book 266 of Deeds
at Page 372,~Records of San Mateo County, California; thenc~ along said
southerly line North 53o 18' 04" East 34.59 feet to the beginning of 591.19
foot radius curve whose center bears North 36o 27' 39" East; thence southeasterly
along said curve through a central angle of 130 13'.09" a distance of
136.40 feet to the northwesterly line of Oak Avenue; thence along said
line South 53o 18' 04" West 73.94 feet to a tangent curve concave northerly
having a radius of 20.00 feet; thence generally westerly along said curve
through a central angle of 92o 50' 40" a distance of 32.41 feet to a point
of tangency with the northeasterly line of Mission Road; thence along said
northeasterly line, North 330 49' 52" West 103.98 feet to the point of
beginning.
