BE IT RESOLVED by the Cqty Council of the City of..South San Francisco that, after duly considering the staff report dated January 7, 1975 , subject _Nois~. Abatement Apprnpriatinn Request , which is attached hereto as Exhibit A, the Council does hereby order that the sum of Two Tho~&qand Five Hundred Dollars ($2,500.00 ) be trans- ferred from General Fund Reserves to' Account No. 12-4399-350-56 . No. 1-76 To: The Honorable City Council Subject: Budget Amendment No. 0~13 Action: P, esel.uti on . -. Recommendation: That council adopt the attached resolution approving budget amendment No. 0-13 appropriating a sum of $2,500.00 as personnel expenses for -Dr. Maurice Garbell, to represent the City at hearings at Washington, D.C., regarding the supersonic transport. ' Discussion: At the regular CoUncil meeting of November 25, 1975, Council considered the matter of 'the supersonic transport, Concorde, as a transpor- tation-vehicle entering the United States and, more particularly, the Bay Area airports. Council's action was to adopt a motion opposing such entry and authorizing Dr. Maurice Garbell to represent the City at formal hearings to be held at Washington, D.C., and declaring such opposition.
