HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 7-1976 RESOLUTION NO. 7-76 CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING STAFF LIAISON TO BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS AND PROVIDING FOR RELATED MATTERS. WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Council to promote efficiency and effectiveness in the operations of the City, and WHEREAS, the various City Boards and Commissions are created by the Council to perform certain duties and have access to staff to assist in their endeavors, and WHEREAS, the City Council has established a policy that all directives, requests or inquiries shall be made through the office of the City Manager and that all public sessions shall be tape recorded, and WHEREAS, experience has demonstrated that by isolating the liaison duties to a specific staff member(s) directives, requests, or inquiries made by Board or Commission members can be most effectively satisfied, and that a tape recording of meetings provides the most comprehensive and accu- rate record of the proceedings; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that: 1. The following sets forth the designated staff liaisons for the 'legislative body, Boards and Commissions of the City of South San Francisco' City Council Planning Commission Parks and Recreation Commission Library Board Personnel Board City Manager City Planner and/or Director of Public Services Director of Parks and Recreation Library Administrator Assistant Personnel Officer 1. Housing Authority Parking Place ,Commi ss i on City Planner and/or Director of Public Services Director of Administrative Services 2. All members of the legislative body and the respective Boards and Commissions shall direct all requests, inquiries and directives to their assigned staff liaison or the City Manager. 3. The public meeting proceedings for the Council and the respective Boards and Commissions shall be tape recorded. I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly intro- duced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a r. eqular meeting held on the 7th day of January 1976 , by the following vote- AYES, COUNCILMEN Richard A.
