HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 11-1976 RESOLUTION NO. 11-76 CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA A RESOLUTION APPROVING AMENDMENT 0-12__, 1975-76 OPERATING BUDGET BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that, after duly considering the oral staff report of - December 17, 1975, subject being the transfer of appropriation to support additional costs in the Personnel Office, the Council does hereby order that the sum of Eleven Thousand Seven Hundred Sixty . Dollars ($11,760) be transferred from the following accounts: 12-4101-251-50, $9,080; 12-4182-251-50, $410; 12-4183-251-50, $2,270; to the following accounts: 12-4101-108-08, $9,080; 12-4182-108-08, $41~; 12-4183-108-08, $2,270. I 1-76 January 21, 1976 To: The Honorable City Council Subject: Transfer of Administrative Assistant & Budget Amendment No. 0-12 Action: Resolutions Recommendation: It is recommended that Council adopt the following resolutions, which allows for the orderly transfer of the existing Administrative Assistant. 1. Amendment to the Classification Plan by adding the class of Administrative Assistant to City Manager/Personnel (U). 2. Amendment of the Alphabetical List of Classification and Pay Ranges. 3. Amendment to the 1975-76 Operating Budget No. 0-12. Discussion: As previously indicated, the Administrative Assistant assigned to the Department of Public Service is scheduled to be transferred to the Personnel Office. To accomplish this transition and simultaneously update Personnel documents, Council is requested to adopt the aforementioned res- olutions. 1. Classification Plan- Contain job specifications on each class of City employee. The plan is routinely modified to reflect the addition or deletion of classes or their modification as needed. The proposed resolution amends the Classification Plan by the addition of the Administrative Assistant to City Manager/Personnel. . 2. Alphabetical List of Classification and Pay Ranges: Is adopted annually to reflect the current job classes and corresponding salary ranges. The proposed amendment adds the class of Administrative Assistant to City Manager/Personnel and sets the salary at range 814, which is in con- formity with the existing Memo of Understanding. 3. Amendment to the 1975-76 Operating Budget No. 0-12 is a transfer of appropriations from the Department of'Public Service to the-Personnel Office to accommodate the transfer of the Administrative Assistant.
