HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso RDA 2-1980 RESOLUTION NO. 2 A RESOLUTION OF THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A COOPERATION AGREEMENT WITH THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO WHEREAS, in accordance with the provisions of the Community Redevelopment Law (Part 1, commencing with Section 33,000, of Division 24 of the Health and Safety Code of the State of California) the City Council being the legislative body of the City of South San Francisco, by Ordinance adopted December ]9 ,1979 declared that there is a need for the Redevelopment Agency of the City of South San Francisco to function and declared itself to be the Redevelopment Agency; and WHEREAS, the Agency has in the process of conducting redevelopment activities within the City of South San Francisco required numerous staff services which were performed by the staff of various departments of the City of South San Francisco; and WHEREAS, the Agency anticipates that further staff services will be necessary in the carrying out of the redevelopment activities as required within the City of South San Francisco; and WHEREAS, the Agency does not have a complete redevelopment staff to perform the required redevelopment services. NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Redevelopment Agency of the City of South San Francisco as follows: 1. That the Executive Director is authorized to enter into a Cooperation Agreement with the City of South San Francisco to reimburse and repay the City of South San Francisco for the staff services previously provided and those that will be required for the Redevelopment Agency in the future pertaining to the redevelopment activities undertaken by the Redevelopment Agency of the City of South San Francisco.
