DISCUSSION: The 1975'76 budget for Program 423 - Aquatics was based on a partial operation. The Parks and Recreation Commission reviewed the program in August of 19.75', at the residents of South San Francisco's request, and recommended that operation remain on a full-time basis for six months at which time the Commission would again review the program. On February 5, 1976 the Commission met in a study session and reviewed the program and budget. In the Commission and staff's opinion there has been sufficient improvement in the quality and quantity of programs offered. In addition, there has been an increase in the pool's revenue. Therefore, the Commission respectfully requests the City Council to reinstate $35,000 for a full-time swim pool operation'. Edward G.
