CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION CANVASSING RETURNS AND
DECLARING RESULTS OF THE GENERAL
MUNICIPAL ELECTION HELD IN THE CITY OF
SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO ON MARCH 2, 1976.
WHEREAS, a general municipal election was held in and throughout the
City of South San Francisco on the 2nd day of March, 1976, for the election
of three members of the City Council, a City Clerk, and a City Treasurer, and
WHEREAS, the City Clerk has duly presented to the City Council of the
City of South San Francisco all the returns of the votes cast at said general
municipal election, and
WHEREAS, said City Council has inspected and examined all said returns;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of said City that
said Council finds as follows:
That Seven Thousand Six Hundred Thirty-one (7,631) votes were cast
in the City of South San Francisco; that Twenty-Thousand Six Hundred Fifty-
nine (20,659) votes were cast for the office of City Councilman; Six
Thousand Nine Hundred Ninety-seven (6,997) votes were cast for the office
of City Clerk; and Five Thousand Nine Hundred Eighty-five (5,985) votes
were cast for the office of City Treasurer;
That the names of persons voted for as submitted at said general munici-
pal election are as follows:
(a) As regularly-nominated candidates:
William A. Borba, Manufacturer Councilman
William A. Craib, Engineer "
Emanuele "Midge" Damonte, School Principal "
Ronald G. Acosta, Practicing Safety Administrator "
Terry J. Mirri, Incumbent "
Warren Steinkamp, Incumbent "
Roberta Cerri Teglia, Homemaker "

RESULTS OF SAID GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION
That the record of the votes cast at said general municipal election
in favor of said candidates as shown by the official count at each of the
several precincts established throughout said City by said City Council for
the purpose of conducting said election is as shown on Exhibit "A" attached
hereto, the same being a tabulation of the votes by precincts;
That the votes cast at said general municipal election in favor of
said candidates for the office of City Councilman, City Clerk, and City
Treasurer by absentee ballot as shown by the official count, and included
in the totals set forth in Exhibit "A", are as follows:
For the office of City Councilman:

For the office of City Clerk:

That the City Council of said City hereby declares as follows:
That Emanuele "Midge" Damonte, William A. Borba and Terry J. Mirri were
duly elected at said general municipal election as members of the City Council
of said City; that Arthur A. Rodondi was duly elected at said general munici-
pal election as City Clerk of said City; and that John J. Bonalanza was duly
elected at said general municipal election as City Treasurer of said City.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk of said City shall, and he
is hereby ordered to, issue Certificates of Election as follows:
To Emanuele "Midge" Damonte, William A. Borba and Terry J. Mirri as
members of the City Council of said City;
To Arthur A. Rodondi as City Clerk of said City;
To John J. Bonalanza as City Treasurer of said City.
