A RESOLUTION OF THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY
OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO
DESIGNATING A NEWSPAPER OF GENERAL
CIRCULATION FOR PUBLICATION OF ALL
NOTICES, ORDERS, ADVERTISEMENTS,ETC.
WHEREAS, in accordance with the provisions
of the Community Redevelopmen~ Law (Part 1, commencing
with Section 33,000 of Division 24 of the Health and
Safety Code of the State of California) the City Council
being the legislative bOdy of the City of South San
Francisco, by Ordinance adopted December ]9 ,1979
declared that there is a need for the Redevelopment
Agency of the City of South San Francisco to function
and declared itself to be the Redevelopment Agency; and
WHEREAS, the Agency has determined that it is
necessary to designate a newspaper of general circulation
in order to satisfy the requirements of Government Code
Section 6040 of the State of California; and
WHEREAS, the Enterprise Journal is a
newspaper of general circulation within the definition of
Government Code section 6040 of the State of California.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Redevelopment
Agency of the City of South San Francisco as follows:
1. The Enterprise Journal is
designated as the official newspaper of the Redevelopment
Agency of the City of South San Francisco to be used whenever
any official advertising, notice, resolution, order, or other
matter of any nature whatsoever is required by law to be
published in a newspaper, said publication be a newspaper
of general circulation within the definition of Government
Code Section 6040 and the Executive Director is directed to
effectuate such publications in the aforesaid newspaper.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the
Redevelopment Agency of the City of South San Francisco
held March 5, 1980.
