SURVEY A~EA WITHIN ~ CITY OF soLrfH

WI{ERieS, The Conmmlnity .Redevelopment Law of the State of
California (Sections 33,000 et. seq.. of the Health and Safety Code) provides
authority for the designation and description by resolution of survey areas
(formerly redevelopment areas); and
WH~, The City Council by Resolution No. 17-80 adopted on
~{arch 5, 1980, authorized the Agency to designate a survey area within the
general area of the Bethlehem Steel Plant site easterly of Highway 101; and
%~S, the Agency hereby finds and determines that the area
described in this resolution requires study to determine if a redevelopment
project or projects within said area are feasible;
NOW, THEREFORE. BE IT RESOLVED by the Redevelopment Agency of the
City of South San Francisco as follows:
Section 1. The area designated and described as set forth in Exhibit
A, attached hereto and by this reference made a part hereof, is hereby
designated Redevelopment (Survey) Area in accordance with City Council Resolution
No. 17-80 adopted on ~arch 5, 1980.
Section 2. The Agency hereby finds and determines that the area.
described in Section i of this resolution requires study to determine if a
redevelopment project or projects within said area are feasible.
