A RESOLUTION OF THE REDEVELOPb~ENT AGENCY
OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO ADOPTING
THE ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW PROCESS OF THE
CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO IN ACCORDANCE
WITH THE CALIFORNIA ENVIRONb~ENTAL QUALITY
ACT OF '.1970 AND THE CALIFORNIA STATE GUIDELINES
(AS AMENDED) AND ISSUED BY THE SECRETARY OF
THE RESOURCES AGENCY OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA
WHEREAS, the California Environmental Quality Act,
as amended by the Secretary of The Resources Agency of the
State of California, requires that all public agencies shall
adopt objective, criteria, and procedures for the evaluation
of projects and the preparation of Environmental Impact Reports
and negative declarations pursuant t° Division 13 of the Public
Resources Code of the State of'California, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of SoUth san
Francisco has adopted by Resolution No. 24-77 entitled "A
Resolution Adopting Revised Guidelines. For Environmental Impact
Reports In Accordance With The California Environmental Quality
Act Of 1970 and The California State Guidelines As Amended and
Issued by The Resources Agency. of The State of California" which
resolution provides objectives, criteria and procedures for the
evaluation of projects and the preparation of Environmental
Impact Reports and negative declarations pursuant to Division 13
of the Public Resources Code of the State of California, and
WHEREAS, the California Environmental Quality Act as
amended by the Secretary of Resources Agency of the State of
California provides that the Redevelopment Agency of the City
of South San Francisco may utilize the objectives, criteria
and procedures of the City. of South San Francisco.;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED as follows:
1. The Redevelopment Agency of the City of South
San Francisco hereby adopts the Environmental Review Process of
the City of South San Francisco previously adopted by Resolution
No. 24-77 of the City Council of the City of South San Francisco
to provide the objectives, criteria and procedures for the
evaluation of projects'and the preparation of Environmental
Impact Reports and negative declarations pursuant to the California
Environmental Quality Act of 1970.
