CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PARTICIPATION
OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO AS
CO-INTERVENER IN VARIANCE PROCEEDING
N7773 BEFORE THE DEPARTMENT OF TRANS-
PORTATION OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA.
WHEREAS, the San Francisco International Airport has filed an applica-
tion for a variance from the State of California Noise Standards with the
California Department of Transportation (No. N7773), and
WHEREAS, the present noise levels emanating from the San Francisco
International Airport cause great discomfort to the areas immediately sur-
rounding it, and
WHEREAS, the results of the variance request will have a profound
and lasting effect on the City of South San Francisco;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of South San Francisco
hereby joins with the City of San Bruno, et al, in asking the California
Department of Transportation to permit it to intervene in application No.
N7773 and to grant it intervener status.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly intro-
duced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco
at a regular meeting held on the 2nd day of June ~ ,
19 76 , by the following vote:
